Nail Mail Me

So i found this girl on instagram that sells awesome nail decals and now I'm obsessed :)
Here are some I bought.
They're super easy to put on, you can paint your nails whatever colour you like then put the decal on and some top coat to set them in place.
I decided on ombre nails as a base which is really easy and a bit more interesting than plain colour.
Nail polish Barry M, Berry and Strawberry, top coat Sally Hansen, Insta-Dri

Nail Polish Barry M, Berry and Topshop, World's End.

I would highly recommend these nail decals to anyone who loves nail art but doesn't have a steady enough hand to paint it themselves or the patients to wait for it to dry :)

You can find them at www.nailmailme.com and she also sells ready painted false nails and custom decals so you can get anything you like!

How To Make

Fabric Padded Letters

First of all you will need these things....

Card, fabric, stuffed toy filling, cardboard letters, ribbon, glue gun, glue, scissors and pencil.

Firstly i started by drawing around the cardboard letters onto the coloured card and cutting them out for the backing, then i stared to glue the toy filling to the sides and front of the cardboard letter.

The next bit is a bit more fiddly, you need to fit the material around the letter and glue it in place with all the folds in the correct places so there are no lumps and bumps.

You might need to do this part in a few sections depending on the letter.

You might find there need to be folds on the front, I just left those bits of material a bit longer so i could fold them over, then you have no frayed edges showing. The folds at the ends i just did like you would a present folded them round to the back and glued them in place there.

Next i glued ribbon to the back so that the letters can be hung up, you need to make sure you check the lengths with every letter because you will need more ribbon for wider letters, otherwise they will all hang at different lengths.

Then last of all i glued the cut out coloured bit of card to the back to cover all the edges.

The finished result is......

I made these for a baby present but you could make them to say anything and put them anywhere in your house. Try different textured materials, or maybe make them patchwork with different scraps off material...

I hope this was a helpful tutorial! :)
